If you don’t already know how this works, allow me to break it down for you…
Kai & Dylan (co-founders of the site) are very competitive by nature. If there’s any way of challenging one another (be it trivia, coin tosses, sumo wrestling) they are always up for the challenge. The problem is, Kai tends to get upset because Dylan usually finds some unbelievably lucky way of pulling out the win.
To get revenge, he suggested a post where Dylan would have to watch a horrible movie of Kai’s choosing and write a review about it. Kai took great delight in the idea of torturing Dylan for two hours a month. Dylan thought it was a GREAT idea and suggested they both do it. Kai reluctantly agreed.
Now they’re putting the decision in your hands. Each month, they will double dare each other to watch a horrible of each other’s choosing and you will decide who got it worse… because someone has to win!
Last time out, Dylan destroyed Kai to the tune of 70%-30%, to take a 1-0 lead.

I had to side with Dylan, and the reaction was purely visceral. I live near Philly. Justin Guarini went to high school in Philly. During IDOL and this film, the local news tripped over itself to make that “local connection” to Hollywood. Over Justin Guarini. It brought back bad memories. Please Mommy, make it stop.

I’m calling Bullshit on Dylan!
There is no way he liked this movie, Michael Groos or not! The whole reason I started this thing was because Dylan bitches about and finds flaws in good movies so the idea that he would like a movie that is often considered one of the worst films ever made is proposterous!
That being said, I should totally lose this one!
Oh, and speaking of Michael Gross… how can Dylan mention him 2 separate times, only referencing Family Ties and not, I don’t know… TREMORS?

Expectations, my friend. I’m going in thinking I’m gonna watch the worst movie of all time each time (not really, but you get the gist), so I end up accentuating the positive and liking them a bit more than I might have otherwise.
Also, Cool as Ice is about 5x better than Spice World. At least this one is a movie with a plot that travels forward. Spice World would have been intolerable without the “five cute chicks” factor.
I’m pretty sure you’ve got the next one. We’ll see. I knew Milla was in Lagoon 2, but I can’t imagine watching the first, much less the second. I like Ed Furlong enough, but Crow 4 sounds brutal.
Haha… I loved Kai’s shaving throughout the video. That’s great. I gave this one to Dylan, though.
However, I think Kai will win the next one. At least with Blue Lagoon 2, you get Milla Jovovich naked. But then again, she was only 16 at the time, so… maybe not.
