If you don’t listen to this interview, the only one who really misses out is you. Mike Wiles (Fight Club, Magnolia, Transformers) was nice enough to take time out of his schedule and discuss his 25 years of acting in film and TV. As much as he hates to hear it, Mike is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and he was very generous with us. While I enjoyed the entire interview, my favorite part has to be the stories Mike can tell. I think you’ll like them too. So, sit back, relax and listen to Mike talk about how Tom Cruise often gets mistaken for Tom Cruise in grocery stores, how he might’ve had a small chance at playing Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs, how Steven Spielberg has the softest hands he’s ever felt and what’s going on over at Breaking Bad. Enjoy…

It’s not up there yet for some reason, Joel. I’m working on it! Keep an eye out. It should be there soon.
Nice interview! Some great stories, and it’s always nice to discover that someone with a really cool job is a nice guy.
great listen!! seeing the pic in the slider of him in fight club really helps me appreciate how unrecognizable he was…crazy!!
oh, and p.s. had fun playing the drinking game during the interview…”let me ask you this”…love it!!

I’ll say thanks again to Mike and my apologies for not being able to make it.
Indeed, some excellent stories and peek behind the scenes to a really cool career. I can’t wait to get started (and catch up, hopefuly) with Breaking Bad before season five kicks off.
Fantastic interview! It’s interesting to hear his perspective from the other side of the screen and he gives some great insight. That was really nice of Mike to take the time to talk to Man I Love Films. (Good job Kai!)

Only just got around to listening. Great interview, good work Kai. He really has some great stories, especially liked the Tom Cruise one.
The Lost Highway casting story is interesting, I heard an interview with Melissa George a few months back where she tells a similar story about when she was cast in Mulholland Dr. Must be the way David Lynch works!

I missed that George interview. E-mail me a link. I’d like to hear that. I can’t recall her in Mullholland Drive.
