FAMILY GUY FANS UNIVERSALLY APROVE THE FIRST 22 MINUTES OF ACADEMY AWARD CEREMONY

Though he’s received mixed reviews about his Oscar hosting gig, at least one thing is certain. Family Guy fans have universally praised Seth McFarlane’s performance as MC of the 85th Annual Academy Awards……at least for the first 22 minutes. Unfortunately, most Family Guy fans were unaware of what happened after that short block of time.

Kip Hershberger is a self-professed Family Guy fanatic, and he can only wonder what shenanigans Seth would have offered him past the 22 minute barrier. “Man I heard there was an inappropriate Lincoln joke, and even Ted showed up,” said Hershberger. “I just started to zone out after the boobs song.”

The Oscar telecast is traditionally known to be a lengthy affair, but the Academy was hoping McFarlane would be able to trim the show down to about an hour and still keep Family Guy fans entertained. He failed.  The ceremony ran for three hours and thirty five minutes, which is way too long for the mind of a Family Guy fan or any other human mind to have to tolerate McFarlane. Oh well, there’s always Billy Crystal for next year.
