Although the film has already been released internationally (the IMDB page actually lists it as a 2009 release, but it’s never been released stateside) and has done the Festival thing a bit too (more recently) the filmmakers behind the slightly “Game of Thrones”-ish Solomon Kane put out an exciting new trailer this week at Comic-Con. You can check it out below:
The trailer definitely has it’s merits and I can tell that it will be action-packed and exciting. There’s always the feel of been-there-done-that with movies like this but I think the combination of James Purefoy (the leading man, who you might recognize as Marc Antony from HBO’s “Rome”) as Solomon and a thrilling story could bring this up a notch. While I’m not giddily anticipating this movie’s release, I will certainly be looking for it once it hits the U.S. market.
