I’m already psyched for the upcoming Leonardo Dicaprio-Martin Scorsese flick, The Wolf of Wall Street and these images, while a bit mundane, keep that excitement level up.
Also, as a member of the Fashion Committee, I’m really glad that I didn’t sell suits at a time when gigantic lapels and double-breasted were characteristics of the suits being worn. Also, what’s with the white socks under the suit, Leo? Maybe that’s to show his character’s ignorance at the beginning of the film… I hope!
Do you take anything from these images? How about that tie, huh? I don’t ever want to hear a customer tell me that the ties we have are ugly. THAT is an ugly tie!

If my scrawny self was wearing one of those huge old suits I’d look like I was swimming in it.
Double-breasted suit is to convey power/ status while the tie’s small, geometric design conveys detail-oriented profession like a quant trader. Yes the tie could have been more “power” (predominantly solid or red) like the guy to his right, in front of him. Not the fashion police; just sayin’.

This is what I’m about – power suit, power tie, power steering.
