Pain and Gain stars Mark Wahlberg and The Rock as a pair of bodybuilders in Florida that get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong. I gotta say that the idea is nice enough (it’s actually based on a true story apparently) and the two stars should work well together. Throw in Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Anthony Mackie, and Rob Corddry and I just might be there for a Michael Bay film.
Don’t tell anyone.
