… will scare the crap out of you. And if it doesn’t, well, then you’re cold inside.

Using a rarely-used tactic, the trailer has no dialogue and features a chilling score and a ton of scares. Ethan Hawke stars in the film that looks like it combines slasher flicks with the supernatural side of things and the just plain frightening.

See what I mean?

Holy crap…

I feel like horror fans are going to jump all over this and it appears rightfully so. It looks creepy and scary as hell. I’m not the biggest horror fan and I gotta admit that the trailer freaked me out a little, so I’m not sure if I could make it through the whole film, but it looks like it hits all the right notes.

If you dare.

  • Yeah… that didn’t scare me in the slightest, and I’m a big horror fan. The only part that kinda freaked me out was the “box” moment near the end. Still, it looks like it could be an interesting movie, and I’ll check it out. But… yeah… that trailer wasn’t really scary at all.

  • It’s eerie, atmospheric, and really smartly cut together. It hints at scariness, which I think is what a horror trailer should be doing. You don’t want to give away the horror beats; you want to suggest them. You want to imply them rather than outright state them.

I think this looks great, and the positive early word on it that I’ve been hearing is encouraging. So basically, I’m on board.
