I want to post interesting news on this site. I try to reach out to some of the obscure stuff, too, though, because there’s only so much Marvel news and the like that I can post in one day.

Now, theLeft Behind series is a religious fiction series written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins that has sold more than 65 million copies worldwide and it chronicles what happens after The Rapture. Kirk Cameron starred in the original film (although not as the same character that Cage is apparently up for) and campaigned like crazy during its theatrical run. It didn’t do well at all (only $4.2 million in theaters, although the budget is not available) so for some reason, Cage thinks that his presence can change that.

The new movie is budgeted at around $15 million. Filming is expected to start in early spring for a fourth quarter 2013 release…
