SKYFALL THEME BY ADELE

by

Adele, the popular big-voiced singer, has been given the task of belting out the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall and it has been officially released, a month before the film’s release. You can give it a listen (with lyrics) on the video below…

I really dig this. I’m an average Adele fan, I’d say, as I don’t know all her songs by heart or anything, but I do enjoy her voice very much and her CD is quite good. This rendition sounds classic and old-school and I think she was a perfect match for the current trend of Bond. Looking back, Chris Cornell’s “You Know My Name” which played during Casino Royale, was fantastic and that film followed suit. Then, Jack White and Alicia Keys teamed up for the theme to Quantum of Solace, both of which underwhelmed. So if we’re going on first impressions based on music (and I’m going to – so deal with it) then my hopes for this movie are right on schedule. I can’t wait to see the credits that go along with the song!

How do you feel about the song?
