IT’S OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!
For the very special 27th episode of the MILFcast, our buddy Dylan Fields takes over hosting duties as myself and my newly named co-host Heather Leigh play the role of guests to discuss the following:
- We take a little time to reminisce on the first year of MILFcast.
- Heather explains her Facebook update.
- We talk about what we’ve been watching.
- We discuss movies from our childhood that have aged poorly and those that have stood the test of time.
- We play a game of Dylan’s Always Right and THE GAME!!!

And I have to give a special shot out to our second Tournament of Champions winner. Man, I Love Films’ own SCOTT KNOPF!!!

Congrats Heather and Kai to a great first year!
Dylan: Thanks for the Superman see through! I am so tired of seeing that film on best of 1980′s lists and best comic book film etc. I don’t think the sfx are the worst part of it its the acting and the loooong story. Hell the first one goes on forever it feels like.

I probably should have watched Smallville, ’cause for me the most appealing part of Superman has always been when he’s a kid/teen growing up and discovering his abilities. The fact that Donner used an adult that looked almost no younger than Reeve always baffled me. That was only complicated by how terrible of an actor he was.
The shit on Krypton with Brando et al has always been kinda neat to look at, but it’s interminably long and nonsensical. And the shit after Clark leaves town for Metropolis is boring as shit and full of terrible f/x. On top of all that, Kidder is annoying. At least Gene Hackman is a load of fun…

Thanks, Joel… and Superman is an okay movie. I’m a Superman 2 guy myself!
Couldn’t agree more with you.

The opening skit was priceless! Best line: “He never plays with me, either.” Ha! Awesome job by the EiC and the little EiCs.
Loved Whitney calling out Scott as well at the end.
Pretty good episode, if I do say so myself (my unexplained mic/connection issues notwithstanding).
Yes the intro and the frankly my dear plug was hilarious.
BTW Kai, great choice in finally getting into the Wire. Its my choice of best TV-series tied with Buffy but they are great in different ways.
