EXPENDABLES 3 TO ADD JACKIE CHAN?

Although the film hasn’t been officially green-lit (as if there is any doubt since internationally, both previous films nearly tripled their respective budgets – and they’re awesome!) the casting process seems to have begun forThe Expendables 3 and at the top of Sly Stallone’s GET-LIST was Jackie Chan.

At a press conference promoting another film, Chan said “Sly had invited me to be in Expendables 2 but I was too busy filming CZ12 and couldn’t make a commitment to the film. But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes.”

Three things:

1) I love that we live in a world where Jackie Chan calls Sylvester Stallone “Sly.” I also would like to hear the audio of that if I could…

2) I’m not sure exactly where in 2 he would have made an impact, especially since there was so little time for Jet Li, which was sad in its own right.

3) Oh my god will we have Jackie Chan and Jet Li duking it out? Or could they be tag-teaming a bunch of disposable henchmen?!?!

I’m super pumped now.
